Last Saturday the Howells came up and we went out to Jensen Nature Park to feed the ducks.
These next few photos are of the kids on the way there. Ryder was being cool.
Then decided to give me a little grin.
The lighting was fun to try to work with. I don't get to shoot much at sunset, so it was good practice to see what would happen with different settings.
Piper kept getting right on the edge so Daddy got to hold her a lot of the time.
Ryder yelling something at the ducks.
She found my purse and got the good stuff & was trying to get them open.
My favorite guy ever! I rarely get in front of the camera, but Chad was kind enough to take this photo of us.
We went to the movies the night before to see "The Avengers"! Great movie! Can't wait to get it and watch it again. We brought our leftover popcorn to feed the ducks and Piper liked playing with the empty bucket.
Wednesday we went to the park and the kids said they needed to play in the water when we got home so they could cool off. Piper of course likes to spend the whole time playing on the stairs.
She has a cute smile in the last picture, but wasn't looking at me. When I finally got her to look at me she made a silly face.
Love this face!
Getting her ammo.
She picked a fight with the one with the hose...not the smartest idea. Can you guess who went running?
Wednesday night I was locking up the house and closing the blinds when I noticed 4 deer in the tree farm behind our house. We don't normally see them around our place because we are across the freeway and in a pretty busy area. So it was fun to see them and watch them for a few minutes. Cambria was the only kid awake, so we had to show Ryder the pictures the next morning.
Thursday we met my friend Ashley and her son that's Piper's age at the Layton Park. Piper was loving the sand and kept sitting down and even laying down to run her hands through it and see what kind of treasures she could find. She was loving the freedom she had!
The boys digging in the dirt.
Showing me the sticks she found.
Cambria found a big pile of sticks she carried around for awhile.
Ryker wanted on the merry go round. We thought he'd get dizzy and want right back off. We had Cambria sit by him just in case, but he was loving it and stayed standing up the whole time. There's no way Piper would stand there and not get dizzy or want off.
Check out that other girls face...lol
Ryder thinks he's the best pusher.
We are loving the warmer weather. It rained today and cooled down about 20 degree, which was a nice little break too. It's great to have a big yard for the kids to play in and enjoy the weather. It takes a lot of work to keep it looking good, but it's fun for now and gives us something to do.
